This dealership is extremely misleading and will cost you way more than you expect. They present add-ons like they’re part of a “package,” but almost everything is actually itemized separately, and WILDLY overpriced ($1100 for Honda car mats!!!!). You don’t realize how bad it is until it’s too late and your total shoots up.

Definitely felt like a second class citizen here - what a miserable experience. The sales rep indicated/implied there would be room on the price and/or trade. He knew i was coming in to negotiate. We brought our 2020 CRV in for service and talked with Blong Xiong. He was so helpful and knowledgeable explaining the process and once the service team found out what the issue was, he checked our account and found we were still under the powertrain warranty. We were expecting to pay alot of money out of pocket and didn't realize the warranty covered the issue. Blong also made sure we had a loaner vehicle for the time they serviced our car. • Sales rep, John Lysaght, was on his phone majority of the time from start to finish. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.
• They had the wrong car price on the initial estimate. Was $1,000 higher on the estimate than online price. I pointed it out and they corrected it. Had I not done that, they would have screwed me over.

Decided to give them a try without looking at their reviews. Big waste of time. We met a salesperson called Bobby. We clearly stated we did not need a test drive and were looking for their lowest price. Bobby insisted we test drive while the car manager looked at out trade. Terrible customer service. Purchase used Buick three weeks ago and am still wait on title information. No one, including the General Manager, Used car manager, finance individual or the sales person returns phone calls. May have to file complaint with other Minnesota agencies, ie Secretary of State, DMV.
This is heartbreaking to say the least. Growing up, my family were all about their Hondas. So naturally, I become a loyal Honda guy myself when I went into the car market at 18 years old when I bought my first brand new Civic Sedan. Up to date, 3 of 4 of my brand new cars were Honda. After having chosen a Honda dealership over an independent shop I would not suggest going here. I am very disappointed with the service we received from Rapids Honda.
We had stopped in for a quote and dropped off the car for its scheduled repair but were called the next day to pick up the car as they could not repair it (as needed) at that time. DON'T BUY FROM RAPIDS HONDA. I wish I would have read reviews before sending my son in to look at used trucks. He chose to buy a 12 year old truck and they pressured him into paint protection, glass sealant & a theft deterrent totalling $1285.00 extra even after saying no to all the add-ons multiple times.

Run, don’t walk away, far, far away. In short here are the key pieces that were fraudulently represented/charged to me:
- I was charged $399 for LoJack service when I told them I did not want it. They continued to assert I paid for installation that occurred prior to the sale. The purchase agreement says “3 year”… 3 yrs of what??? Service! That I said I didn’t want.
- The online purchase price listed on Cars.com was $21,561. My purchase agreement has the price listed at $21,999. In total my $21,561 purchase was billed to me for $26,5000.

They state that various services are "complimentary" on their webpages: "LIFETIME POWERTRAIN WARRANTY - THREE YEARS COMPLIMENTARY MAINTENANCE - LIFETIME CAR WASHES 1st of 10 applications of the Auto Butler exterior protection & Diamon Fusion windshield enhancement, Lojack theft and recovery hardware system, and Honda all-season pro pack". Bait and Switch is the name of the game at Rapids Honda of Coon Rapids. Sales person Adam was very nice and not pushy at all, I would work with him any day except for one thing. When it came down to buying the truck, he informed me that there were $5000 of add-ons that were not on the sticker price. I have a vehicle for trade that the appraiser undercut the value by $2000.. Service person was professional and knowledgeable. Clean and comfortable waiting area, yesterday's service was provided by Drew Mechley.
Did not like my experience there in Aug 2023. Dealt with Roger. They played the old game of bringing out the Manager to close the deal. They did not want to share the price of the car, just focusing on the monthly payment. I asked 2 other people I know who had a Honda, they also went there and agreed with me. I should have asked them first and saved sometime. Also they undervalued my trade-in by $4,000. 2 other dealers offered me $4,000 more than Rapids after we agreed on the price of the vehicle.
I purchased my Honda CRV from Rapids Honda in 2019 , They were very friendly and helpful, I continue to go this dealership for all my needs for my vehicle, they are always friendly, customer focused, wait times are acceptable.
I had an appointment last week to fix my HR-V. The service was wonderful. Mikey Estrada was friendly and helpful.
Shawn did an outstanding job taking care of my wife’s damaged car. He understood our situation and worked very hard to make the repair as easy and efficient as possible

A great sales team and a fabulous service squad. The service department exceeded my expectations in all areas, including reception and early sign-in, providing a loaner vehicle, sharing updates during the waiting period, offering maintenance information about the vehicle, and patiently answering lots of questions. The parts department was equally meticulous in researching and providing information about the accessories I was interested in. All three departments deserve a 10/10.

Once there they went above and beyond to accommodate me and called everyone to find me a rental until my vehicle could be fixed. I can’t say thank you enough to Everyone at Rapids Honda. I had them refuse a warranty service and they would not share with me the test they did to deny it. I was originally told it was approved and they had to get final approval from the regional Honda representative. I waited 3 weeks with no notice from them. Attention potential car buyers! These people will make you wait for hours to get you antsy to leave with your new vehicle. This is a sales tactic so you will just sign their purchase agreement quickly without reading it carefully. They will try to add charges. If caught, they will then claim it was a "mistake" or it's "already on the vehicle". They'll lie about deductibles, up sell add ONS, fixes and even finance options. You have been warned. I don't need a reply from you either. You'll reap what is sewn.

We were told our vehicle would only take 2 hours to detail but then was told it would take 5. After the 5 hours there was a pumpkin seed on the floor, dirt on the back of the seat, all the door jams were dirty, the visors were not even touched (flowers attached to the visor when put down) and the outside wasn't washed.

Very happy with sales service! Only setback was getting the car detailed on time. However, it was incredibly busy and they did a great detail job on the car. Worth the extra time!
Took 2 hours and 40 minutes to do an oil change and simple tire rotation. Not going back! Had an appointment, and said we'll get you in an out in a hour.

Will not recommend this dealership to anyone. Extremely frustrated with the dealer, pulled our credit and tried to force their financing even though we said we were already approved through our own bank. Rates were doubled as were the payments. Proceeded to lie about pulling our credit and had us sign paperwork with capital one verification of credit release. Extremely unsatisfied and our bank was made aware.
